DURHAM, NC — April 14, 2025 — The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band comes to the Carolina Theatre of Durham on the “ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour” on August 29, 2025. Tickets are on sale now at the venue’s box office and online at www.carolinatheatre.org.

For nearly six decades, the three-time Grammy Award-winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (NGDB) has entertained audiences with their top-shelf musicianship and timeless hits. Now the time has come for the band who has carried a torch for American country and roots music to say so long to the highways and byways they’ve crossed an unimaginable number of times throughout their career.

“ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour” isn’t a goodbye forever, but it will be the last fans see of multi-city runs and long bus rides. These special shows will celebrate the music created by the legendary, yet ever-evolving NGDB.

The line-up for the tour includes founding member Jeff Hanna, harp master Jimmie Fadden, and soulful-voiced Bob Carpenter, who has more than 40 years of service in the ensemble. Those veterans are joined by singer-songwriter-bass man Jim Photoglo, fiddle and mandolin wizard Ross Holmes, and Hanna’s son, singer and guitarist Jaime Hanna.

Be prepared for remarkable harmony, thrilling instrumental flights, and undeniable stage chemistry from the band on the “ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour.”
