Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, entertaining clients, or simply looking for a memorable night at the theater, our Legacy Boxes and Grand Suites offer a unique way to experience select performances.

Legacy Boxes

A classic theater experience.

Please note that a steep flight of stairs is required to access the Legacy Boxes.

Grand Suites

Elevated views with additional privacy.

  • Located at the front of Balcony One
  • Suite-style, including two seats and a table
  • Perfect for entertaining guests or celebrating special occasions
  • Excellent elevated perspective of the stage
  • Enjoy champagne service or another drink of choice, plus a premium snack not offered at our concessions stand

Please note that stairs are required to access the Grand Suites.

Availability varies by performance. Legacy Boxes and Grand Suites are offered for select events and may not be available for every show.

If you have any questions about Legacy Boxes or Grand Suites, please contact the Barnes Box Office at (919) 560-3030 or at efan@carolinatheatre.org. The Barnes Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and one (1) hour before live performances.

One (1) Legacy Box fits two (2) people. When purchasing a Legacy Box, you must purchase two tickets.

One (1) Grand Suite fits two (2) people. When purchasing a Legacy Box, you must purchase two tickets.

Yes, tickets for a Legacy Box or Grand Suite can be purchased online, by phone at (919) 560-3030, or in person at the Barnes Box Office. The Barnes Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and one (1) hour before a live performance.

Unfortunately, the Legacy Boxes and Grand Suites are not wheelchair accessible. Both require stairs to access.

The Carolina Theatre of Durham provides accessible seating for limited-mobility guests on the Orchestra level of Fletcher Hall and in both Cinemas. Lower-priced level tickets are available for accessible seating on the Orchestra Level. Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.carolinatheatre.org or by calling the Barnes Box Office at (919) 560-3030 between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Tuesday – Friday.
