A portion of ticketing fees goes directly to our ticketing provider. The fees also cover the cost of our box office staff to provide guests with great customer service over the phone or in person. A portion of the fees is set by the promoter or event; therefore fees differ based on the event and the ticket price.
Since the fees vary event-to-event based on promoter or event requirements, the percentage going to the theater varies as well. However, the majority of the ticketing fees go to cover our nonprofit theater’s costs of running our ticketing services (staff, software, credit card processing, ticket stock, etc.).
Virtually all of the face value of each ticket goes to the artist, promoter, or rental client. Our nonprofit theater is reliant on a portion of the fees collected to support our ongoing operations.
All ticket purchases will incur a fee and vary event-to-event based on promoter or event requirements. Online purchases will have the highest fees while over the phone and in-person orders will have reduced fees. The majority of the ticketing fees go to cover our nonprofit theater’s costs of running our ticketing services (staff, software, credit card processing, ticket stock, etc.).
