Carolina Theatre Remains Temporarily Closed

DURHAM, NC — September 4, 2020 — CLOSURE UPDATE — Durham City & County officials announced changes to the current Safer-At-Home Order which relaxed some rules and brought the local order in line with Governor Roy Cooper’s Phase 2.5 reopening. It went into effect Friday, Sept. 4 at 5 p.m.
The administrative and box offices of the Carolina Theatre of Durham will not be staffed while the venue remains closed. All live events, rentals, film screenings, meetings and any other public gatherings originally scheduled at the venue are either postponed or canceled until further notice. Please contact us through efan@carolinatheatre.org with any questions.
