Carolina Theatre Remains Temporarily Closed

DURHAM, NC — June 24, 2020 — CLOSURE UPDATE — As of June 24, Governor Roy Cooper has required the wearing of masks in public spaces, effective Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m. All of North Carolina remained in Phase Two of re-opening through July 17. Locally, the Durham Safer-At-Home Order remains in place until rescinded.

The administrative and box offices of the Carolina Theatre of Durham will not be staffed through this time. All live events, rentals, film screenings, meetings and any other public gatherings originally scheduled at the venue are either postponed or canceled until further notice.
