Durham, NC — January 24, 2022 — Ronny Chieng: The Hope You Get Rich Tour comes to the Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham on Friday, March 4th at 8 pm. Tickets to see Ronny Chieng start at $35 and are on sale now at ticketmaster.com and at the venue’s website, carolinatheatre.org. 

Ronny Chieng is a stand up comedian, actor and Correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He starred in the worldwide hit movie Crazy Rich Asians and on his Netflix stand up comedy special “Asian Comedian Destroys America!”. He has been featured on NBC’s Young Rock, Godzilla vs Kong, Bliss, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the New York Times, and GQ. He will be starring in the upcoming Marvel Studios movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Disney’s Doogie Kamealoha M.D and tech horror thriller M3GAN.

The Carolina Theatre requires all guests to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before entering the building. Additionally, all guests are required to wear a face mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.

The theater has also implemented multiple safety measures including upgrading its air filtration systems to hospital-grade, adding enhanced cleaning methods and touchless payment options, and increasing the number of hand sanitizer stations around the building.
