Record-setting ticket sales for the Carolina Theatre

It’s been quite a first week of ticket sales at the Carolina Theatre – clearly our fans love the 2011-2012 Star Series lineup. In the first seven days of sales we sold over $100,000 worth of tickets – an all-time one-week record for the Carolina Theatre. And we also recorded the largest single sales day in Carolina Theatre history with more than $37,000 in sales on Wednesday, the first day of online presales to our E-Fan e-mail list and through other promotional partners.

We knew we had a blockbuster lineup. We didn’t quite anticipate our launch sales being the best ever, but we’re certainly thrilled by it!

Among the biggest hits so far are Lindsey Buckingham, Boney James, Aaron Neville, Paula Poundstone, and Bruce Hornsby. What does all this success mean to you? If you want good seats, don’t wait. Tickets for all Star Series shows are on sale now – with more great shows to be announced shortly!
