DURHAM, NC — OCTOBER 25, 2021 —Little Feat bring their “Waiting For Columbus” tour to the Carolina Theatre of Durham on Thursday, April 21.
Tickets to see Little Feat Waiting For Columbus Tour with special guest Amy Helm in Durham start at $59.50 and are on sale now at the Carolina Theatre box office, the venue’s website — carolinatheatre.org — and through Ticketmaster.com.
The “Waiting for Columbus Tour” celebrates the 45th anniversary of Little Feat’s first live album “Waiting for Columbus”, which was originally recorded during seven live performances in 1977. The album features Little Feat’s trademark sound uniting California rock, funk, folk, jazz, country, rockabilly, and New Orleans swamp boogie into a rich gumbo.
The 2021 Little Feat line up on the “Waiting for Columbus Tour” will feature Bill Payne on keyboards and vocals; Sam Clayton on percussion and vocals; Fred Tackett on guitars and vocals; Kenny Gradney on bass; Scott Sharrard on guitars and vocals; and Tony Leone on drums.
The Carolina Theatre requires all guests to show printed proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before entering the building. Additionally, all guests are required to wear a face mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.
The Carolina Theatre has also implemented multiple safety measures including upgrading its air filtration systems to purify indoor air quality, adding enhanced cleaning methods and touchless payment options, and increasing the number of hand sanitizer stations around the building.
