The Carolina Theatre of Durham will increase film ticket prices by $2 starting July 1, 2023. After many years of keeping our prices the same, with the rising cost of products and services, we’re increasing our film prices to cover our costs. As a nonprofit, the Carolina Theatre brings live performances, arthouse and repertory film, and children’s programs to Durham and surrounding communities. Film ticket costs cover a portion of our programs, along with generous donations from community organizations and individual donors.
