DURHAM, NC — August 23, 2021— Faith, Hope, Love: Readings and Conversation with Kate Bowler, Tressie McMillan Cottom and Kelly Corrigan comes to the Carolina Theatre in Downtown Durham on Tuesday, October 12. Tickets to see Faith, Hope, Love: Readings and Conversation start at $35.00 and are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and at the venue’s website, carolinatheatre.org.

Who are the women of Faith, Hope, Love? Kate Bowler, PhD is a New York Times bestselling author, podcast host, and a professor at Duke University. She studies the cultural stories we tell ourselves about success, suffering, and whether (or not) we’re capable of change. Tressie McMillan Cottom, PhD is a research professor at UNC-Chapel Hill’s iSchool, a MacArthur Fellow, and New York Times contributing opinion writer. Her current research examines racial capitalism in platform economies and what she calls “hustleprenuership.” Kelly Corrigan has written four New York Times bestselling memoirs in the last decade, earning her the title of “The Poet Laureate of the ordinary” from the Huffington Post and the “voice of a generation” from O Magazine.

This show will require fans to provide either proof of a negative test result within 72 hours of the event OR full vaccination for entry.
