Sometimes the truths we carry are shaped by what the world sees – and what it refuses to see. In a culture where identity is both celebrated and scrutinized, pride and prejudice often exist side by side, weaving themselves into our most intimate moments. This June, we’re calling on LGBTQ+ voices to share stories that live in that tension: stories of being seen too much, or not at all; of love tested by bias, both external and internal; of chosen family, self-discovery, and the courage to take up space in a world that doesn’t always make room.

From quiet acts of defiance to loud declarations of self, from the sting of judgment to the warmth of radical acceptance, we present five storytellers that challenge and celebrate what it means to belong, to love, and to be fully, unapologetically yourself.
