Embark on an acrobatic journey with “Solstice: a Winter Circus Experience.” This captivating circus show unfolds the story of a character who has lost his inner light, plunging him into a wondrous and surreal world where memories come to life and the ordinary becomes ‘extra’ordinary. “Solstice” blends over 8 acrobatic acts with lighting, costumes, music, scenery, and snow to create a unique blend of poetry and circus in a 75-minute show! “Solstice” is an unforgettable celebration of the human spirit, where every member of the audience will feel like a kid again and remember what it was like to see snow fall for the first time!

The cast of “Solstice” is comprised of 8 high-level circus artists from across the United States, including 3 who are local to North Carolina! Activate Entertainment is redefining live performance in North Carolina and beyond while remaining committed to supporting our local community and fostering collective creation!

“Solstice” is presented in partnership with the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County. The show first premiered in February of 2023 and became a huge success resulting in a 2024 Tour across North Carolina.
