Mel Brooks’ High Anxiety

Celebrate the genius of the Master of Suspense with this rare theatrical screening of Mel Brooks’ definitive Hitchcock homage. Brooks stars as Dr. Richard Thorndyke, a psychiatrist with a crippling fear of heights—”High Anxiety”—who takes over the psycho-neurotic institute for the very, very nervous. As he uncovers a sinister conspiracy, the film brilliantly parodies iconic moments from Vertigo, Psycho, and The Birds with affection and absurdist wit. A box office hit that received the ultimate seal of approval from Hitchcock himself, the film features a hilarious ensemble cast including Madeline Kahn and Cloris Leachman. Sharp, silly, and visually inventive, it’s the perfect, laugh-out-loud finale to a season of thrills.
