American songwriting treasure Clarence Greenwood aka Citizen Cope announced his Winter Tour 2022 last week, which will celebrate music from his professional career over the past two decades. Known for his uniquely powerful and soulful sound, Cope will perform songs from across his beloved and critically acclaimed body of work.

Over the course of his 20 year touring career, Cope has released seven EPs and performed at some of the most renowned theaters and ballrooms across the country, all while building deep personal connections with his fans. His first album was released in 2002 to critical acclaim and the single “Let The Drummer Kick” went Platinum, without any support from commercial radio. Most recently this year Cope released The Pull of Niagara Falls – a contemplative acoustic album that reflects upon the early days of his musical journey through a series of emotive ballads.

Starting October 4th, the Carolina Theatre will require all guests to show printed proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before entering the building. Additionally, all guests are required to wear a face mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.

The Carolina Theatre has also implemented multiple safety measures including upgrading its air filtration systems to purify indoor air quality, adding enhanced cleaning methods and touchless payment options, and increasing the number of hand sanitizer stations around the building.
