Alex Edelman: What Are You Going To Do Comes to the Carolina Theatre on November 21

DURHAM, N.C. — June 8, 2026 — Alex Edelman: What Are You Going To Do comes to the Carolina Theatre of Durham on November 21. Tickets are now on sale at the venue’s box office and online at www.carolinatheatre.org. This event is recommended for audiences ages 13 and up. 

One of the most critically hailed comedians of his generation, Alex Edelman is best known for solo shows that blur the line between his stand-up comedy roots and narrative-driven storytelling. His last offering, “Just For Us,” played more than 500 performances all over the world before premiering as an HBO original comedy special in April of 2024. 

Edelman recently appeared alongside Jerry Seinfeld and Melissa McCarthy in Netflix’s Unfrosted. He will next star in Greg Daniels’ The Office spinoff for Peacock, where he also serves as a consulting producer, while developing a feature film with A24 and preparing for the release of his debut nonfiction collection, I Don’t Belong Here. 

Beyond his front-of-camera work, Alex was a staff writer on “The Great Indoors” for CBS, a story editor on “Teenage Bounty Hunters” for Netflix, and the head writer for “Saturday Night Seder,” which raised over $3.5 million for the CDC Covid-19 Emergency.
